"Our retaining wall needed work so we called Pleasant Surroundings and a few other places and we gave the job to Mr. Ricci because of the fair price and our experience. We found erosion from the builder's installation just two years before, so Pleasant Surroundings replaced the original wall, down a very steep driveway, with fieldstone. He also fixed the drainage problem at the bottom of the over 100-foot driveway. He also built a brick landing for us and planted 30 trees on the land in the back of our house"

I live out of state and needed them to install a french drain at a property that I own. He was extremely easy to work with from the time that I first sent him the plans, to when he visited the site, and then when it came time to do the work. Communication is key when you don't live in town and he is excellent at it. Their prices were fair and they are prompt in getting the work done. I along with the homeowner were extremely pleased.

Chris and his team helped turn our all-dirt, always-muddy backyard into a beautiful backyard! He was responsive and very collaborative in identifying creative - and cost-effective - ways to address our concerns. There was no "boilerplate" solution and Chris was always open to discussing why or how he was doing what he was doing. Ultimately, his price was more than reasonable, and he even threw in some extras to ensure that our backyard was complete (i.e., trimming some trees, adding some extra rock). We don't just have a usable backyard now, but one that we are truly proud of. Overall, would highly recommend Pleasant Surroundings!

We just finished three projects with Chris and his team and have been pleased with all.
